Wife and I have explored several caves in the US and didn't expect this to be on par with them but it truly was. The is a "wet" cave with a couple of very cool underground "lakes" which you don't see elsewhere. Make time to put this on your list, but know that the 70 degrees and 99% humidity make... More

I visited on a rainy December Saturday and it was the perfect activity. While it rained outside, the cavereans were 70 degrees with 99% humidity. Book the combo tour but allow yourself 4 hours to visit both cavereans. Have good shoes as well. When you book your tour, you need to arrive two hours before your tour time. Also eat... More

I had the opportunity to visit the Caverns with my family not too long ago! It was an amazing experience. We drove from San Antonio and it seems to be a bit far away but is definitely worth the drive. The inside of the Caverns is out of this world! Make sure that you have a good Camera or plenty... We decided to visit on a rainy day! It's nice as you stay dry! The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and able to adapt the tour to our large group. The caverns are vet well taken care of and a great sight to see! Blows your mind that this type of geology could be under you in other places. There... More

Definitely one of my favorite places! Impressive place that you must visit, pictures does not display the greatness of the caverns. It also has an eating area, zip-line and maze course. The garden area is beautiful too and has two different tours in the caverns. Definitely going back!

One of the best places to go when in Texas. Unbelievably beautiful. A cavern that is alive with glistening lakes and growing formations. Cool temp inside. Take sweater. Really nice tour guides. I saw exit escapes for those claustrophobic and saw one leave. Ask the logistics before you go in. Snack bar. I would be surprised if it was ADA... More

We have been to many caverns across the U.S. and this one had a wide variety of beautiful formations. There are several tours offered, we purchased the combo tour so we got to see both sides of the cavern on the Discovery and Hidden Passages tours. Both were amazing! Our guide for Hidden Passages was Devin and she was our... More

When in the San Antonio area, visiting the Natural Bridge Caverns north of town is a definite must. The cave formations in these caverns surpass what you see at Mammoth Cave in Kentucky. It's a short system compared to Mammoth, but it's got everything. The walk is steep, as these caverns are deep, so wearing shoes with rubber soles is... More

I have personally toured this in the past & it was a fantastic tour. I now send groups of high school students their on field trips and they come back every time saying how much they loved seeing the inside of the cave. An educational experience for all!
