The Trolley Tour is the easiest way to get a ride to the Missions which are certainly worth seeing. Our tour driver was a wonderful gentleman who was a great story teller. This tour will take you places that the Red Bus Tour doesn't and vise versa so we bit the bullet and did both. Not the most economical way... More

We found the trolley system to be efficient and much easier than trying to drive and park around the tourist part of the city. We got our tokens in the Visitors Center on the first floor corner of the Menger Hotel which is directly across from the Alamo. They provide maps with on/off points so you can plan your sightseeing... More

The best way to get around the city, especially when it is raining! You can sit inside and not get wet, but when it's not raining to sit upstairs in the open deck would be my preference. The drivers are friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the area and sights they go by. They also stop occasionally for a... More

This company is very shady. When we first arrived with their printed phamlet with their advertised price, they very quickly pointed to a sign on the wall that reported effective July 2016, their prices increased $2 per person. So in other words, no matter what advertised price, expect to pay $2 more per person. I specifically asked if this was... More

My wife and I took this trolley and glad we did. The driver job did an excellent job at describing each of the areas, landmarks, and tourist attractions as we passed by them. I would recommend San Antonio Trolley Tours as a way to experience the sights and sounds of San Antonio. The attractions along the route are: The Alamo,... More

The trolley is very uncomfortable with wooden seats and it is a very bumpy ride. The tour itself covers some wonderful areas and the tour guide was knowledgeable. This was a two day tour, so you could get off and on at any of the stops, to tour on your own.

This was the worst tour I have ever taken. We were told it was air conditioned and showed us the city, about an hour tour. A/C did not work on the trolley car, was just like a fan running in 100 degree heat. Our driver was very rude and had an annoying voice. We were ready to get off after... More

The Trolley run a variety of routes around the downtown area and beyond. Not as comfortable as a bus but more fun - enhances the experience.

We enjoyed so much our two day Hop on and off tour with Grand Trolley Tours. We selected this one because it goes out to two of the Missions not in walking distance for us. Philip, our very knowledgeable driver did a great job. He was always on time and we had a printed schedule for us for each day's... More

We made a reservation online for a 2 day trolley/double decker bus combo tour for March 27&28 and printed our prepaid voucher. When we arrived at the office, it was closed! I called the number on the voucher and the girl who answered said they had decided to close for the day and that nobody told her either, she had... More
