I have taken dozens of bus and trolley tours in my time, domestically and abroad, and this is the only one I've ever been disappointed in. This is NOT a tour. It is transportation. There is a little bit of commentary as you "drive by" --blocks away-- from the stops were you can get off. The drive is not scenic... More

In SA for a few days, decided to ride the Trolley, purchased the Hop on, Hop off tickets for 2 days, got off at the Guenther House for streudels, MUST DO! Wound up not being able to go back for the 2nd day of trolley :/ Wish I'd known, I wouldn't have paid so much. A little over priced, and... More

Leroy, our driver the first day, entertained us and gave us a personal view of San Antonio. He was great! The second day the driver talked from a script and at times was rude. The sites where the trolley drops off are just what you would want to see.

I guess that I have been on to many "Bus and Trolley" tours to find this one exciting. $22 was a bit over priced but they did have a $4 coupon available. Not a lot to see once you left the River walk and the Alamo

Forget taxis and extensive walking...the trolley stops are well located and with little effort can get you from your hotel to whatever is on your A list. $4 for a 24 hour pass. They make it easy to see the town.

Driver on bus was good and informative. We didn't use the hop on hop off facility as we just wanted a tour of the area but the facility is on offer. Nice enough tour about an hour long but beware overhead branches and dangling lights as there is no warning and a smack on the face is sore!

Leroy, our driver, is a native of San Antonio. He is knowledgeable and entertaining. He took a personal interest in all his passangers and I would highly recommend Grand Trolley Tours. The hop on/ hop off option and a free second day was well worth the money. The phenomenal drivers, Leroy specifically, was icing on the cake.

I had the BEST driver! He was informative and knew a lot about San Antonio as he is a native to the area. He also made sure to tell me when he would be back around. There are two trolley's that run and stop at each spot every half hour, so I always took an hour. He even waited for... More

When you purchase tickets for the Red and Green Trolley, you have the hop off/on option or a 2 day pass. We were only in town a day so we chose the hop option. The tour guide was excellent, gave great history of the area. We got off at the San Joae Mission, it was large and now being maintained... More

We took the Trolley Tour of San Antonio and very much enjoyed it. Next time we will take advantage of they 2 day pass so we can see some of the sights that are away from the city tour. The tour guide did a great job and was very attentive to all the travelers, making sure they got off at... More
