Whether you like SAS shoes or not this place is a hidden gem in San Antonio to visit. As you walk up to the rustic building you will notice a bunch of old vehicles parked outside like someone's collection. They range from horse carriages to 50's style automobiles. Walk inside reminds you of an old hardware store with various items... More

We booked in to do the tour by phone but after going to the factory and checking in for the tour found out the bus was broken and were advised the tour was cancelled. We rang again the next day and were advised the bus was now fixed and booked in for a tour later that day. This time there... More

Discovered this gem about 15 years ago during one of my many business trips to San Antonio. A little hard to get to from I-35 going through an aging residential neighborhood, but so very worth multiple visits. Charming old Texas train station town deco, but the real reason is authentic, USA-made SAS shoes at 30-40% off retail, with discontinued styles... More

It had been quite a while since I was there last, as there shoes are such good quality, you don't have to return to buy more very often. I am always amazed and delighted to visit the factory. The "old town" atmosphere, general store, antique cars and buggies, all give the place a special feeling. The sales folks are also... More

I thought I was just going to a shoe store to buy my SAS shoes since the store at Tanger Outlet was so disappointing. Boy was I wrong!! Lots of old cars in pristine condition greeted us in the parking lot. When we walked in, it was like walking into a general store you would find on "Little House on... More

Went there to have fun and ended up buying two pairs of shoes. Very knowledgeable shoe salesperson! Check out the antique cars out back, too!

This is the latest of several trips to SAS! Always to buy the best manufactured shoes made anywhere. This trip was to enjoy the best remembered, friendliest, and knowledgeable people regarding shoes we have ever met. The atmosphere is very comforting and when you think you need help the people are instantly available. There is absolutely no pressure to buy... More

This place was amazing! It's like going back in time. In the huge parking lot are old cars to check out. Inside the store you will find rows of SAS shoes and merchandise. You can purchase a bag of popcorn for 5 cents. A coke for sells for 10 cents! Antiques and fun displays to see. The staff are very... More
