Overview
More
You can't get more Texas than Pearl beer. This brewery is a beautiful landmark that stands out when driving on the highways around downtown. The limestone structure is now used for events, excercise classes, a culinary institute and more. You can also learn about the haunted stories surrounding it and about what was once the largest brewery in the entire state. You know it's big if it's in Texas and this is the largest of its kind.

After visiting the San Antonio Art Museum we drove the couple of minutes to this striking complex (there's a large carpark on the Museum's side of the river and a footbridge), and we were very happy we did. Had a pleasant lunch in one of...More

Hidden gem - or not so hidden but was my favorite place in San Antonio! not touristy like the riverwalk area but only about 2 miles from downtown (less than $10 uber ride). We went around 7pm walk around while it was still light, enjoyed...More

Of course this is a beautiful repurposing of an industrial area, with excellent food offerings and shops...but seriously, too many people and dogs on the weekend. It's a little weird to see folks camped out on the turf with no space between. I watched some...More

I have been here many times seeing from the original brewery grounds to the recent redevelopment of this property. I always felt this place would be brought back to life with its old architecturally old buildings, close proximity to downtown, and located next to the...More

While the Pearl District does have some of the higher end shops, there are only a handful. The district does have a wide variety of eateries and the weekend Farmers Market is a must see!

The Pearl Brewery is the best hangout in the city. Great shopping, restaurants, great outdoor spaces, a wine bar, etc. The farmer's market on the weekend is great, and the place is crawling with families and their children and dogs. Lots of fun. The Hotel...More

What a gem! We'd been told by friends that this place was a must visit during our stay in San Antonio. They did not tell us much more.... Not wanting to mess with getting our car from the hotel valet, we didn't even intend on...More

We were just tooling around and decided to go check out the Pearl brewery. What a beautiful place. There are shops, restaurants and an amazingly beautiful hotel, all along a nice stretch of the river. The repurposed old brewery equipment into planters and art give...More
