You can't get more Texas than Pearl beer. This brewery is a beautiful landmark that stands out when driving on the highways around downtown. The limestone structure is now used for events, excercise classes, a culinary institute and more. You can also learn about the haunted stories surrounding it and about what was once the largest brewery in the entire state. You know it's big if it's in Texas and this is the largest of its kind.

We took a tour bus out here and walked around the plaza. Home of Pearl Brewery. Had been referred to La Gloria (authentic Mexican dishes cooked by professional chefs, upscale pricing), but also Sam’s Burger Joint is out here, which our driver thought had the...More

We dropped in and decided to have lunch because it looked so good. We weren't disappointed either... Well worth the visit. Will revisit next time we're in town for sure.
