Very peaceful. We saw people fishing, camping out and grilling. It cost $7 for each adult. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were clean.

Staff was very friendly, site was excellent and pool and hot tub were very clean. We will be back next time through this area.

Very easy to find and close to Highway but you don't hear the noise. Lots of trees. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Sites are wide with cement pads. Very dog friendly with nice dog park. Would stay hear again.

Camp book said $22 they charged us $28. AND. The daily entry fee,each day I asked about this latter and was told that is the way it is! Bring more $ over $70 for 2 nights

I didn't have high hopes for scenery on this lake. It is another power plant lake. I was pleasantly surprised! My hubby fishes and I just enjoy the water, sketch, take photos, and sometimes run the trolling motor. There is some gorgeous scenery on this lake around the back of the power plant. This park is filled with happy people! The staff are fun, the people who are short term camping are having a good experience and the longer term campers are a delight. The facilities are convenient to the main route into San Antonio (10/15minute drive). The shower/restrooms are modern and clean. The only reason for not giving five stars is the... More

good family get away. the hubby can fish and cook while the wife takes care of the kiddos. or vice versa! or all can do both. it is just fun.
