Small, not very well ada equipped, not much to see, in need of educational tires and display organization. Help unfamiliar with local businesses. Quickly boring, especially for kids.

I enjoyed the information about whales and Orcas and learned quite a bit. Well worth the time to visit. I was somewhat uncomfortable as the building seems to have a large amount of mold or allergy stuff.

This is my third time to The Whale Museum and it's always a must-see! Very cute and informative little museum on San Juan Island, perfectly situated since whales frequent the islands in the summer. Nice little gift shop as well. If you have little kids...More

We stopped here before going on a whale watching tour and we were not disappointed! The museum is small but packed with information, especially on their conservation efforts. Definitely worth a quick stop!

Definite must see! knowing that their mission is to protect our local Orca population and educate people concerning whales makes the admission worth it!

Great place to start your adventure once you reach San Juan. What about all the animals that inhabit the water in the sound. Learn about the different pods of orcas. I was very sad to find out that granny, the oldest of the orcas, had...More

Visited the Whale Museum while waiting for my hotel room to be ready. Had two floors of exhibits about the sea life of the San Juan Islands, with a focus on orcas. I especially enjoyed seeing the orca skeletons and the whale stuff. Was well...More
