No guarantees on the whales, but when they are nearby the views of them are majestic. Even without them, it's a lovely setting with several moderate trails to explore. There's a lighthouse nearby, and restrooms on the edge of the parking lot.

Great little way to spend an hour/hour and a half. Nice little walks, with great views and stopping areas. Didn't see a whale, which would be rare I think, but always the chance so does add a little "excitement" to the walk.

OMG...I almost cried when I saw whales from this park. They were soo close and majestic. One jumped right out of the water...others had baby whales with them. Amazing. This place was incredible. Great trails and beauty. The trees are so soft.

We spent a few hours walking around this picturesque seaside park. A very pretty part of the island. Supposed to be a great whale watching site, but they didn't show up. We saw some seals and other wildlife. Gorgeous views!

Trolly from town was convenient. The sunset was beautiful. Nice romantic spot. Some picnic tables if you want to take a picnic dinner/snack.

Great hiking and whale watching area. Can sit on the rocks and enjoy the water or hike the many trails (to a lime kiln or to Deadmans Bay) and tour the lighthouse.
