Very nice small museum on the hill in Santa Fe. The Southwest Jewelry display is magnificent. The museum shop in the basement is full of wonderful things.

Since our last visit, they have opened a new exhibit of Native American silver jewelry, showing the development of the jewelry as well as modern pieces from Native American artists. Their store remains a favorite place to pick up Native American art and jewelry.

Filled with Native American art and the stories behind its creation--silver, beads, pottery, weaving. Interesting and educational museum in a beautiful setting. On site trading post sells works of current Native American artists. Open most every day year round.
