A lot of interesting history of this church and the Wall Hanging of our Lady of Guadalupe. It was brought to Santa Fe in Several pieces on 9 Burros, and put together in Santa Fe.

On vacation, I like to walk around and see the sites. I stumbled upon this Cathedral and enjoyed walking around the exterior. The rose bushes were trimmed back but I'm sure they are beautiful when in season.

I sat down on the bench in front of the statue of the Virgin of Guadalupe to pray for guidance. Within seconds, the sun moved behind her head and I was blessed with a spectacular array of light. I'll always cherish my photos and feel like my prayer was heard!

The church is dedicated to the evidence left by the Virgin Mary in the 1500's when she appeared in a Mexican Village (Aztec roots) and provided the archbishop with a sign that her request (for a church to be built) should be followed. As the story goes, the young boy was instructed to go up to a mountain and collect... More

Historic church. Beautiful exterior and interior as well. Be respectful as the church is still used for services from time to time. Walking distance from the Plaza.

I happened upon this church as Mass was going on. The church was full and I was ushered up to the front. Stayed for the Mass. Very friendly and warm.
