This downtown branch of the library, just a block or so from the Plaza, has a real hometown feel. The staff is very helpful and the collection is varied and in good order. I especially like the magazine swapping section just inside the front doors....More

The downtown library is full of homeless people who tie up the computers all day and evening, so that local residents and visitors have very limited access. Other parts of the library are fine; quiet and pleasant. The southside branch is a modern, light and...More

Loved the Southwestern Reading Room, very elegant and tons of resources. The beautiful tables and art make it an grand place to rest and renew away from the hustle and bustle of the Plaza. It's a way to explore authors and artists of NM and...More

I used to work in a library so I like to visit libraries when I'm in a different state or city. This is a well stocked, quiet, and inviting library. The staff was kind and informative.

The library is right next to the hotel we stayed at, Hotel Chimayo de Santa Fe. The area is very touristy, but I found lacking in things for children to do. Thankfully this was just a few steps away. It is a beautiful library with...More

I love all libraries, and go frequently. Main library is now being repainted outside (finally). The LaFarge branch is in near or a total remodel and smells. The Southside Library on Jaguar is new and beautiful, but a bit out of the way for most...More
