Came back to see the current Counterculture exhibit which was excellent. The story was told through excellent photography by Lisa Law, exhibits and recordings. In the middle was a VW bus from the time! With 60's music playing and those of us old enough to...More

The museum is the first place we went to orient ourselves to New Mexico and get a sense of its history. Three levels of history include an exhibit on cigar box covers and early printing as well as a floor dedicated to the hippie culture...More

A great museum that made Santa Fe come to life for me, with a balance of "famous" and "regular," male and female, Native and settler, and so on.

Excellent museum just off the Santa Fe plaza! Very well done exhibits especially for the early history of New Mexico. Admission is $12 which also includes admission to other Santa Fe museums.

This is a relatively small museum so you don’t need a lot of time, which worked for me. It was quite interesting and I particularly enjoyed the counterculture exhibition. Definitely worth popping in if you have a spare hour

This turned into a quick visit. The information available may have been more interesting to others. It did not do much for us.

We could have spent all day absorbing the information in this museum. Very interesting and very well laid out. On Wednesdays, New Mexico residents over the age of 60 are admitted free of charge, a real bonus!
