This is an Audubon facility with a reception centre/gift shop and an educational area. Don't be put off by the advertising that says that the last mile of access is a dirt road. It was fine. There are several bird feeders around the buildings and...More

The Randall Davey house tour on Fridays was our main objective. That was interesting in its self. It took about an hour or more. There is a lot to learn and see in the house and studio. The history of the artist was well explained....More

Short, well-marked trails in the woods on the side of a hill. We went in winter and didn't see many birds, but still a nice place to walk that's so close to the city.

Master gardeners helped design and maintain the spaces near the offices, in plants that attract hummingbirds, bees...More

A free (donations accepted) lovely hike that be extended into the national forest. It was a cold sunny Saturday morning and we saw only one other person. The chickadees and finches kept us company…saw a deer and a squirrel. It is a peaceful and beautiful...More

Past the galleries on Canyon Road is this woodsy sanctuary. Walking among the trees was a delightful change from the desert environment. We heard lots of birds but only spotted a black-chinned hummingbird and Steller's jay.
