There so much trees and nature out the front, nearly walked right by it. But definitely glad we didn't! The building is obviously full of history but what a great experience. The building was beautiful and the art was nice to look at, informative, really...More

My guide book said it was worth going into the State Capitol. We were not disappointed. Very open and friendly place. Surprised by the lack of security and the ease in looking around. We could have stayed longer but ran out of time. Make sure...More

There is a lot of artwork here to check out. The building itself is a little plain for a State Capital building, compared to others I have visited. If you like to see art, stop in. If you are expecting interesting architecture, skip it.

The State Capitol building is beautiful inside and it seems to display different art pieces periodically.

The art collection on the two floors is not to be missed. Make sure you follow each floor around the circular building as the art continues around the entire floor.

Santa Fe is the State Capital of New Mexico and it’s fitting that the building here is different to all the other State Capital buildings just as Santa Fe is unique. I was surprised to find Santa Fe was the State Capital but glad due...More

I did not expect to see the display of artwork on each floor. It takes about 15 - 30 minutes to view, but worth the trip. The rest of the building is composed of meeting rooms and offices.

I did not notice wheel chairs. There are adequate elevators and east access to the chamber so limited walking is required and no stairs to climb.

The best parking is across the street from the round house, I believe that is Galisteo street. That way you won't have to worry about feeding a meter. Enjoy your trip and Welcome to Santa Fe!
