Took my daughter here who loves animals. Cute little zoo nestled inside the park. Good amount of animals. Had lots of facts about each animal. Great price. Down side... put money in the photo booth and it didn't work. No way to get our money back. Also, while walking through the zoo there are roosters that are free. One rooster... More

Nice small walkable zoo with a train ride around the park. It's a great day at a local attraction. Nice playground outside so you can make a very nice day.

Admission is now charged to get into the little Petting Zoo area in the Playground section at the back of the park. Uneventful & too bad that the Park cannot be what it was many years ago, but the animals are better left in the wild anyway! The old "Monkey House" I saw as a child still brings back memories... It's a good zoo. They have several species of animals. Took us about 40 minutes to walk through, definitely not a big zoo to walk through. We used a groupon to get in today, thank goodness they were buy one get one free. They have a 10 minute train ride through part of the park too.

This zoo had it all! They presently have an exposition on Australia. My grandsons saw a hopping kangaroo as well as many other wonderful animal of different species. When we were finished seeing the animals, my 3 year rode a small train while the 5 year old played on the nearby playground. After that we enjoyed watching them play at... More

I've driven past Forest Park 1000 times, and I never knew there was a zoo there. We just visited the zoo with family and friends, and while the kids definitely enjoyed themselves, I felt it was a little heartbreaking. They had lots of different kinds of monkeys, a leopard, snakes, some different kinds of birds, kangaroo, assorted farmyard animals, and... More

This is a clean zoo. It is a little small. I don't remember exact cost but it was a little small for the price. Good variety of animals, our favorite was a baby tiger. Plenty of shade and places to sit. The gift shop was.very small, and pricey (as all gift shops are)

The boy that I watched from the age till 10 and I went to the zoo at least once a week. We saw every attraction. The animals, birds, reptiles. So interesting. One day we saw a kangaroo with a long leg sticking out of her pouch. That baby kangaroo was about to be on his own. What a sight.
