We were on a cross-country drive, with kids, and the Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden was supposed to be a quick stop to use the restroom and look around. It turned into a three-hour ramble around the park-like setting. The kids loved exploring and I was delighted to find a new character or funny scene just about everywhere I... More

The sculpture garden is a children's delight. All the sculptures are easy to recognize. Lots of fun especially if you have read the books.

Florida does not have the kinds of museums that Massachusetts does. These museums have been around since I was a kid and are still amazing.

Thanks for the great review, Angelina! We hope you will be back in the state soon and will stop by for a visit. In the meantime, just know that we are currently very jealous of the warm weather in Florida. :) More

The sculpture garden is a fun stop and worth a quick trip, especially as it is free. When we were there, they were working on an adjacent Dr. Seuss museum, and I hope to make it back to visit that when it is open. There are several adjacent museums to the sculpture garden that are also worth a visit.

Yes, bring the children, and a camera to enjoy the Dr. Seuss Memorial Sculptures. The indoor museum offers much more of Dr. Seuss' memorabila...children will love!

My husband and I have a Dr Seuss room for our grandchildren since 1999 so seeing the display brings another dimension of art to our display. We intend to return to Springfield when the Museum opens in 2017 which will compliment the sculpture garden.

I enjoyed walking through the sculpture gardens... there are more than one! It was fun to remember the books as you past each character. Great for families! Enjoy!
