Kind of out of the way at the end of a dirt road. It's on the small side but not the worst then you have this sort that I have visited. The staff was friendly and accommodating but there's just not a lot to do....More

Hardly and plants, lots of "construction" it's mostly dirt. Save yourself the money and go on one of the hiking trails, way more fun, beautiful, more plants and more of everything. I wasted a lot of money here. It sucked.

There were nothing really in bloom when we arrived but we walked it anyway. The peacefulness was the great thing for me. They have tours and all the folks are really nice. The best thing about I was the green house and the free seeds...More

We took the long walking tour and learned a lot about forestry and restoration efforts in AZ. This facility does a lot of research on native plants and reestablish these plants. The Arboretum also does extensive work on reestablishing areas that have been burned by...More

Very small but interesting arboretum. We took a tour from the docent which was helpful in understanding the history and goal of the institution. Butterfly house was disappointing compared to others I have seen, although we were told the population was unusually low due to...More

If you have a 4x4, this will be your ideal vehicle for arriving at this property. Once inside, keep in mind the long winter delays the typical spring/summer flowers that you might see in other parts of the country.
