After reading other reviews, I almost didn't go here, I thought it would be too crowded and I have two very small children(and an older one). We were really just taking a scenic drive and when I saw the sign I decided to pull in...More

The point of our trip was for my two friends to see and experience snow for the first time. We didn't go to sled. We went to have a snowball fight and build a mini snowman. The area is free, but parking is a little...More

Desert dwellers flock here to play in the snow. Great sledding location, and tons of fun especially after recent snowfalls. Unfortunately, the two-lane highway between Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon, which feeds Arizona Snowbowl and the snow play area options is OVERWHELMED mid morning and...More

We came here today because Wing Mountain was closed due to all the litterbugs from the day before. They needed the day to clean up after all of them. People should consider staying home if they can't pick up after themselves. Wing Mtn is maintained...More

There are folks there that will stop you from building jumps and other fun stuff, but it is a decent hill. Beware the drive back into Flag around 4pm on weekends around the holidays can take over an hour - the traffic gets really bad...More

The kids (9 year-olds) had a blast sledding for hours. If you don't have a sled, grab one for $10 bucks at the last gas station, Shell, on the way up. There are no amenities so grab food, drinks, and a bathroom break before you...More

This is a free place to park and play in the snow. There's a sledding hill that starts short for the little kids and gets bigger as you go up the hill. Nice size area so crowding wasn't an issue even on Sunday.
