Very friendly staff and peaceful ride into the forest

We booked a sleigh ride on Thanksgiving day. Unfortunately there was no slow, but the ride into the forest was peaceful.

If you love horses, this is the ride of a lifetime. Great gentle horses. well kept, all shod and good tack. My sister and I have ridden there twice and both rides, there just aren't words to describe. If you love being on the back of a horse in some of the most beautiful country in the USA, this is... I summer in Flagstaff and I have owned horses for many years so when visitors suggested we horseback ride I was not certain this was for me. I went along to be a sport. I must admit I was truly surpised at the entire event. The staff is professional and very courteous, the horses were in great condition. So off... More

We booked for Valentines night (it's been a few months for this review) and we LOVED it. The guide was laid back and knowledgable. The trail was gorgeous. The food was good (it is a campsite style cooking so don't expect 5 star). We would absolutely do it again and would recommend others to do it

My family and I stopped at the Hitchin Post Stables on our way to the Grand Canyon. We were coming from the 110+ temps in Phoenix to the nice cool air in the mountains of Flagstaff. When we arrived at the sables we had the chance to pick out a horse and talk with the staff. They were friendly and... More

We had to pre-pay for our adventure through Zerve. I don't know what I was thinking when I signed everyone up for a two hour ride. That's much longer than it seems if you're not used to riding horses. One hour is plenty. They say rain or shine and no refunds. Well, be careful when booking during the summer monsoon... More

We turned up without a reservation and within 10 minutes we were on our horses ready for the 1 hour ride that we chose. My husband and I haven't ridden before but the horses (Daisy and Otis) were really well trained and even seemed to know where they were going on the trail!. It was a slow walk through the... More

The service was quick and efficient. The horses were very well trained and the trails were beautiful. They also offer cheap refreshments.

Had a really fun sleigh ride in the snow! The cookie and the wrangelars were awesome. Loved the beautiful horses. It was winter when we went but it would be fun anytime of the year.

We had a pleasant ride through open and fairly flat woods. The highlight of the ride were elk that we saw in two locations. The trail boss was quiet throughout the ride.
