Great if somewhat grungy bar in the heart of Allentown. Friendly folks, good music 365 days a year, good variety of beers.

A less than no frills bar with cheap drinks, good music, and friendly staff. We don't end up here too often, but it's usually a pretty good time when we do!

My boyfriend and I visited Nietzsche’s for a few drinks on Saturday night. The main draw was the live music, and the location is great, too. We had to walk from a parking spot quite a distance away, but luckily the weather was cooperative so we didn’t mind a few blocks of exercise. The music (by the Celtic Seisians) was... More

So good. There for people who want to listen to jam bands and thrive on beer simultaneously. Home of the great aqueous.. The next best thing to come out of buffalo. Proud to say this hole in the wall is a child of buffalo. Great place to be.

This has been one of my favorite places in Buffalo since I was in High School back in the late 90s. Live performances (mostly music but not always) every night, and a vibe that is unparalleled. I am an atmosphere junkie. If I am gonna pay 2x as much for a beer than I would in the store then I... More

We had a great time on a Saturday night. This night included a Celtic group that brought back memories of being in Dublin. The pub has a variety of music each evening. The bartenders are great. They are willing to talk about the pub and other locations in the area. Plus, they are more than willing to share a shot... More

Good selection of beers, good prices and excellent live music. We went on a Sunday and enjoyed Dr.Jazz and the Jazz Bugs and the surprise performance of Megan, the bartender. A gem. Ecclectic atmosphere, you feel welcome. We recommended to everybody in Buffalo!

Live Music Every night, not always great live music, but live music none the less. This is a great bar, with an across the board crowd. I was in town for Wines in the Wild at the Zoo and we had an afterparty at Nietzsche's, it was fantastic. Friendly staff, friendly crowd and cheap drinks. What more could you want.... More

We had a great night out at Nietzsche's-- there was some kind of music festival going on, and the bands were nonstop all night. I particularly loved a bluesy duo that played right in the bar. Very friendly and a great place to hang out. I wish we'd stayed longer!
