Restoration of the historic homes is lovely. Nice walking neighborhood, close to shopping, bars and restaurants.

The trolley tour of the mansions on Bellevue Avenue was awesome! Next trip to Newport I plan to tour at least one or two of the mansions.

Bellevue Avenue in Newport, Rhode Island presents a long array of jawdropping mansions. Worth the drive, but be sure to go visit at least one.
Visitors to this area MUST see the mansions in this road. They are truly incredible. It is a delight to simply drive along, never mind actually visiting the mansions!!
