We were here in December and did not go in the water; however, there were others who were surfing and paddle boarding! Parking along the street or in the huge lot was accessible at this time of year. One end of the beach was an entrance point of The Cliff Walk; at the other end were the bath houses and... More

We had to kill time in Newport one morning waiting for our brunch reservation. It was a beautiful sunny day for October and not freezing yet. We drove to Easton's Beach and were thrilled to find an empty parking lot and lots of empty spaces facing the ocean surf. The sun at that time of day beats directly down on... More

These beaches cost $25 on the weekends and I believe $15 during the week. I fell that is just to expensive. Go after 4pm and it is free.

Come November this beach is pretty deserted . One porta-loo open for business and that's it. A fairly boring beach but on a sunny day still nice to sit in the sun on a bench.

Clean beach with parking right neat Cliff walk entrance. Nice views & clean sand, but not the biggest.

Beautiful spot and totally uncrowned in the off season. Had lunch while listening to the beautiful sounds of the ocean. Try a burrito from Diegos bodega in Middletown-delish!

Having grown up in New England and gone to beaches exclusively on Cape Cod and the South Shore of Boston, going to the Newport beaches this summer was a big disappointment. There seems to be a red tide/hydraulic current effect that keeps all the red seaweed in the cove of Easton's Bay, which makes swimming in the water very unpleasant... More

There are the most beautiful beaches where I live, so visiting this beach was somewhat disappointing as I am a bit spoiled. that being said, the sand has a blackish tint to it and the water had tons of red seaweed in it while we were there that makes you feel a bit uncomfortable entering the water. Other than that,... More
