Unlike other Newort Mansions the interiors here are mid 20th C. The house is exquisitely furnished with stylishly displayed rooms. It is a lovely contrast to the more period interiors of the other cottages.

We arrived at 10:15 am not realizing that this is a tour-only attraction with tours at the top of the hour so we came back for the 11am tour. The railing on the narrow path to the door was being painted, making it extremely hard...More

The home is a more real lived-in home in appearance and offers some interesting history and architectural details. Tours are only with a docent and our particular docent was obsessed with dates and relationships and had us bored to tears. If you can only take...More

We loved this mansion. The grounds were so beautiful and the house was no livable. Very easy to access this location, right off of Bellevue avenue and one of the trolley stops.

It's difficult to rate this house. On one hand, it's truly hideous. On the other hand, it's stunningly hideous and demonstrates that money does not equate to good taste. The late Mrs. McBean, who had last owned and lived in this house, had an obsession...More

My husband and I just returned from our trip to Newport - we loved the mansion tours! However .... Skip this one - it was nothing in comparison to any other mansion - I didn't think it was relevant to the gilded era which is...More

You can say what you want, but Chepstow has so much character! You can now take photos on the inside of these gorgeous mansions and it is really something to see.
