Enjoyed sitting on an air-conditioned trolley for a tour down Ocean Drive. The driver narrated the tour. We learned many fun facts about Newport's history. We paid an extra $10 for a extra excursion/tour of Rosecliff mansion.

My husband and I took this 90 minute tour on our first full day in Newport. It gave us a chance to see where things were and note places we wanted to go. Our driver was very informative about the history of the area.

After taking trolley tours around Boston we were looking forward to this one as well. However, it was not as exciting as the Boston tours. In all honesty it was kind of boring. All of the sites you passed you could easily tour yourself and...More

We try to do tours in every new city we visit. This driver was good, but maybe a bit too focused on the animal husbandry at the VSF. We appreciated the history lessons, and the trolley was very clean.

You can purchase your ticket at the visitor's information center, which is where the tour begins. I think it departs every hour, maybe more frequently. It's a 90 minute ride from start to finish, but you can also hop on and... More
