What used to be the center of Newport's commercial seaport in the colonial days, is now the hub of Newport's harbor side shopping and dining, where you can find eclectic boutiques, sophisticated and casual restaurants side by side and cozy waterfront rooms.

Full of life and beautiful ships and yachts. Plenty of places to eat and shop. Parking is a bit tight- go to Visitors Center and it is a short walk.

All the tourists walk around the wharfs of Newport. Shops and restaurants. You can also book boat rides from here too.

The restaurants and shops along Bannister's Wharf are a key part of one's visit to Newport's waterfront. If you miss it you cannot claim to have visited Newport.

Located very centrally next to Bowen's Wharf and near Thames St. You will naturally walk this if you head to Bowen's Wharf. Unique and fun shopping!

Bannister's Wharf is a great place to wander around on a sunny day. Numerous shops are available for various items. The Black Pearl restaurant & Clark Cooke House provide good food & drink options. Clam chowder on the patio at the Black Pearl is outstanding.
