The views are beautiful, it was really humid out when we went, so I went a little slower then usual just because I didnt want to over do it. A lot of stairs, but totally worth it once you get to the top. You dont really need to spend to much time at the top snap a few picks and... More

Excellent walking track, easy walk, does not require any special physical fitness level. If you are claustrophobic there is an option to walk around and up rather than through the tunnel.

This is a pretty tough hike for some folks but if you take your time the climb is worth it. The view from the top of Diamond Head is spectacular. It would be a great place for whale watching but we didn't see any the day we were there. We were surprised by the military history of the place. We... More

Went to the park in the early afternoon. The crowds were minimal, however still had the annoying traveller who insists on taking a selfie every three feet and or videoing every step up the path. The path can be changeling in parts especially when whet, however a half decent pair of shoes - read no flip flops you will have... More

In a million years , never did I believe I would actually climb Diamond Head. I did and am so thankful I was able to do it and overcame my fear of heights and claustrophobia for this particular jaunt. Battling a cold and possibly pneumonia which later I found out I had, I started the trek up the mountain. The... More

Despite weaving our way through many other visitors we eventually got to the top and were greeted with spectacular views. The climb was definitely worth it. From the interior of the crater to the surrounding ocean and land, this tourism destination is a must to visit.

Diamond Head is an Easy trail with Amazing view. Better to go bit earlier to beat big groups of tourists for taking nice pic, for such a popular place!!

We maintained trail and enjoyable hike!! The view was awesome! Wear sneakers and dress in layers. Once you come down. There is trailer selling drinks, pineapple and coconuts. Small coconut was $6, large $10 after you order it a young man opens it so you can drink the coconut water, once the water is gone bring it back to him... More

Great easy hike for all ages. Scenic views from many points along the way to the top. Path was well cared for and easy to follow. I would recommend going early in the morning to avoid crowds.

What to say hard to climb but worth every breath and muscle pain walking high stiff way with stairs something like hour and half back and fourth take water and sun screen to enjoy. Come early since the parking lot is small or use public transportation
