My overall experience aboard the Star of Honolulu dinner cruise ship was fantastic! I went with my 7-year old son and he had a blast as well. His favorite part of the evening was going up and down the stairs from one deck to another exploring. And my favorite part was... the view of the Hawaiian sun disappearing behind the... More

Based on other reviews, we chose to take this dinner cruise on a Friday night to enjoy the fireworks as well. Great meal with unlimited crab legs once everyone had been served. The show was very nice with great costumes. There was an onboard photographer who took your photo and then later in the evening comes back to sell you... More

This cruise started weird when what was obviously one of the owners and family showed up at the dock and the crew fell all over themselves holding umbrellas over them so they would not have to stand in the sun. We had purchased 3 star gourmet ticket which was extremely expensive (lobster and filet) and yet the food was mediocre... More

Booked a Friday night cruise as we wanted to see the fireworks show that is done each Friday night. When booking this cruise be sure to read the options for dinner as there are at least three options, from just standard buffet in the lower level of the ship, to more expensive to very expensive, each with options for food... We participated in the Three Star Sunset Cruise which was overall pleasant but really quite underwhelming at the same time. In hindsight we felt that this cruise was not good value for what was an expensive night out. Firstly the positives - We were picked up by coach from our hotel promptly and again dropped off after the evening had... More

Attended this dinner cruise and can't say enough. Was a surprise to my wife of 40 years and both of us were awestruck by the meal, view, show and service. Upgraded to the 3 course meal on the 2nd deck along with seating along the window for a view that words can't describe. Tad pricey with all the upgrades but... More

We had the steak and all-you-can eat crab legs. We also ordered soft drinks that cost $5 each. All the food was cold and the soft drinks tasted like sewer water. Would not recommend the Star of Hawaii. Save the money and go to a different place.

This dinner cruise runs like a well oiled machine! We loved the all you can eat crab. Service was great and it's just long enough to enjoy your meal and watch the entertainment. Food was excellent! Bring your sense of humor as the staff get you up for a conga line and to dance to some oldies after the show.... More

Great Service and delicious food. Not to mention entertainment was awesome. Only downside was water was a bit rougher then usual from what we were told. Other then that we enjoyed ourselves.
