For someone who has never visited the interior of a submarine, then, this ''floating museum'' is perfect. It gives you the chance to really visit the interior of the sub, and all the machinery and rooms and stuff... So nice!

Located in the USS Arizona complex, the Bowfin provides a view of life aboard a World War II submarine. There is an admission fee. Kids would enjoy exploring the inside of the sub which also has a view of the Arizona across the bay.

Not as interesting in my opinion as the Battleship Missouri but well worth a visit to see what life was like in the cramped conditions below deck.

The Pearl Harbor Park is must see place while visiting Oahu. The USS Bowfin is just one area of the park and it's an old submarine and I enjoyed visiting and seeing this place.

Going through the Bowfin brings home how cramped and claustrophobic were the conditions that submariners lived under Great to get a good look inside a submarine

My wife and I spent an hour on this authentic and heroic WWII submarine. It was extremely interesting to see the way that 50+ men fought and survived in such cramped spaces. I highly recommend listening to the audio guide as you move from station to station on the sub. It provides wonderful insight on what you are viewing. Don't... More

The Bowfin experience is worth the time and effort. All exhibits at the Arizona/Bowfin museum are first class. The memorial to all the submarines lost in WW2 is particularly moving.

Felt sort of ho hum about this one. Maybe I was just too tired and emotionally drained to appreciate it.

We took this tour as none of us had every been inside a submarine. It was very interesting experience. Try to book a time when there are not too many people as it can be very slow with crowds.

It's truly amazing that those sailors could survive and operate so well in such a cramped space - they truly were the great generation. The tour through the submarine is fascinating and the ship has been beautifully preserved. Absolutely well worth the time to visit.
