This place is away from crowds still very comfortable to enjoy a good evening and relax in a place near the ocean, clean at most and relaxing with the opportunity to do some people watching.

This is such a great local spot, I just don't want it to be overrun by lots of people; that said, it is our favourite place to just sit and be with the island. Left side is deeper for swimming of SUP boarding and often...More

A very quiet beach that is quite different from the bustle of Waikiki beach. You can snorkle and see fish here.

Located past the natatorium goung towards Diamond Head. You can climb the stairs from san souci at low tide or go through the parking lot next to the colony surf. There is no street noise here and even though it is small there are few...More

Where the locals go! Outside Waikiki, less tourists, & great sunset spot! If you’re lucky, you’ll even see a monk seal!

This Beach in kailua is wonderful. Not crowded and easy to relax. Just a challenge to find parking along the side streets.

Nov. 4, 2017. At long last things are beginning to move a bit. There were 2 Navy dinghies and crew today to inspect the wreck of the fishing boat that has been sitting on the reef for several weeks oozing out diesel fuel (don't bother...More

We asked our air b'n'b host to suggest a nearby beach that wouldn't be overrun with tourists and Kaimana Beach is what she suggested. Given that it was less than 10 minutes away, it worked perfectly for us with the baby. The sandy bottom ocean...More
