I’ve been dreaming of visiting Hawaii and Waikiki Beach in particular since I was a teenager. Waikiki Beach did not disappoint. It was just across the street from the Marriott where we were staying. The water was calm thanks to the protective wall offshore. Some...More

I always love coming to hang out and enjoy the views of this beach especially with the view of Diamond Head. It does get pretty crowded with other visitors, but you can always find an area to relax and enjoy the sun!

It’s one of the most famous beach on Hawaii. There are many nice restaurants, shops and activities. But Hawaii has more beautiful and cleaner beaches for swimming and enjoying, that is why it’s better don’t stay there longer then couple days and visit other beaches.

Palm trees; banyan trees and a view to remember. There's a lot of activity going on at the beach so if you're looking for someplace quiet this is not your choice. There were a large number of homeless people at the beach but they kept...More

What a beautiful beach that isn't as populated as I'd imagined. The water is beautiful and there is plenty of opportunities for sports.

The beach has been sectioned off into breakwater areas and the whole area has lost its appeal as it has now been all but destroyed by so called progress.

This beach is so beautiful. Lots to see and do in the area with lots of amenities along the way. A separate pool area for those that don't want to mix it with the surfers and places to hire chairs, umbrellas and surfboards too.

If you and your niece love shopping, try the International Marketplace at 2330 Kalakaua Avenue. But, be sure to hit the shops along the avenue, and not just the mall. And, while tours are an easy way to see some spots, I’d... More
