This was my first visit and we just happened to drive by it. It has the best flavored snow i've ever tasted. The bonus is the fun games and atmosphere this place provides. What a novel idea to provide fun board and card games for your patrons as you wait for your dessert... my kids loved it. We played Candyland... More

There are many places to enjoy dessert in Honolulu - Liliha Bakery's coco puffs, Leonard's Bakery's malasadas, Ted's Bakery's chocolate haupia pie - though my favorite dessert is the lychee/watermelon snow ice at Frost City. I'm a shaved ice novice. But I like food and these snowy things are delicious. Not coyly sweet, just full of flavor. The Lychee tasted like the real fruit. There are little treats garnishing the plate, HoneyComb cereal (??? OK), tiny cantaloupe pieces, little orange balls that pop in your mouth filled with sweetness, etc...lots of food blings. The parking... More

The staff was friendly however the shave ice was good, but not great. It might've been the flavor we got, matcha. It was extremely powdery than most. The presentation of the shave ice was cute, it came out with mochi and a chocolate pirouette.

Saw a paragraph about this place in the EnCompass Magazine just before heading to Honolulu. Tried to stop by on Monday (they are closed Mondays to make the desserts) so went back today and were very glad we did! We tried 3 different flavors - mango, pineapple and Lilikoi (passion fruit). "Frost" is (are?) thin ribbons of ice/fruit/cream combinations -... More
