nice beach, easy free parking, warm water on the shore (very long shallow reef break warms the water), good surfing a ways out

We actually took the pink trolly ( free , just show them your hotel room key ) from The Waikiki Ohana East Hotel, up to the last stop which is Ala Moana Shopping Center and just a short stroll you'll be on the Beach Park....More

Very nice beach opposite the shopping centre. Easy to get to by Bus or Trolley. Not nearly as crowded as Waikiki beach on the days we went there. Good deep water swimming and not as much rocks or coral on the bottom so easier to...More

If you want to explore this park, do it during the week because weekends the park is packed with activity, and there is no place to park your vehicle. The west side offers a nice lifeguard-monitored beach, the east side has amazing views of Diamondhead....More

Do yourself a favour and walk away from Waikiki Beach over the bridge past the Yacht Club and go Ala Moana beach. It's SO much nicer and SO less crowded. There are multiple shower stations in the park too to rinse off that salty water...More

It has beautiful curve and can see the city view from shore. No rough sea, good for kids and all age. You can observe many meditation or yoga inside sea.

A moderate walk or quick bus ride out of Waikiki and Ala Moana Park Beach and Magic Island provide plenty of beach, easy surf, especially for children with much smaller crowds and plenty of green trees and grass to relax in.

Needed to fit in triathlon training while on a business trip, and it's tough to think of a more awesome place to open water swim than this. You'll share the water with some paddleboarders occasionally, but there was plenty of room for everyone. Almost exactly...More

Very nice beach but doesn’t have a lot of space on the sand in comparison to Waikiki beach. Water is very nice but it is also very crowded. The Park part is nice if you into some beach sports or activities!
