Another reviewer mentioned second-tier-Vegas-style show. Spot on. That said, the lottery ticket in the box trick is still fascinating me. Don't bother with premium seating. Our premium seating was mid-stage, but it was at least 2/3 of the way to the back of the venue and afforded no additional ability to view the magic. We did not purchase the dinner,... More

Even without my unfortunate circumstance the night I attended, the Magic of Polynesia is a tad tired, tattered, second-tier-Vegas-style attraction. The star is personable, and his magic (from what I was able to see) and the tad ersatz hula-dance flourishes were entertaining enough on a stormy Honolulu evening. The particular trouble during the night I attended began with a hiccup... More

This is a great attraction at Waikiki . The food was delicious and the serving staff were very gracious. The show itself was great. We had went to the Starlight Luau at the Hilton Hawaiian Village earlier in our stay. I wish we would have saved our money. This was a much more entertaining event. It was definitely worth the... For a great night out when on vacation in Waikiki, Hawaii, go to the Magic of Polynesia Dinner Show at the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. The dinner was good, and the show was amazing. It's like Vegas in Hawaii!

Truly a magical evening with a great magical experience. A complete family entertainer. One can also opt for a dinner + show option.

The show was nice, they had good dancers & the sets & choreography was awesome. For someone who is experiencing magic for the 1st time, it will be quite a watch... but it was average for us ! We could predict what was going on !!! so kinda less magic & more hilarious :)

This show was such fun, a mixture of magic and comedy, the illusions were great, as were all the dancers, the flame thrower was incredible! A fun evening out.

John Hirokawa was unbelievable. A fast paced, mesmerizing experience. Entertaining and funny. How he does what he does I will never know.
