The campsite was well-groomed and clean. There was a picnic table in the site and ash pits nearby. There was trash along the beach and we found a piece of broken glass, so be careful or don't go barefoot. We did not stay overnight, since...More

We visited on a weekday and the place was almost deserted. There is no fee to enter. There is a lot of beach here and beautiful waves to surf or simply sit and watch. We saw a Hawaiian Monk seal swimming off shore that a...More

This is easily my favorite place on Oahu. The campground is simple, accessible, and beautiful. I go on a monthly basis, though during the summer you definitely have to be on top of the days that the camp sites are available online to get a...More

My roomie took me out to this side and when I got back to town I was so sad. I'm not an avid camper but the place was clean and had a toilet. The stars were epic and the skies were clear... the sunrise was...More

Oahu isn't short of nice beach parks and this is another one. A nice forested area, beautiful beach and little islands that call you to swim out to them.

This beach was beautiful and the sand was very soft. I was able to lay on the beach while my husband surfed! It was just us and another family while we were there! We will return on our next visit with our children!

we went to this beach by the Campground. It had lovely soft sand, great access, warm water and you could swim, snorkel or surf! As well, the beach is very long so you can go for a 2 hour walk to the other end and...More

What a rude awakening to see the confetti of plastic particulates that made up the shoreline. My first reaction was to grab a garbage bag and a net and clean it up. Then, I could see that 100 bags would not have done the job....More

This is a great beach on the North Shore. Almost totally deserted! The waves are perfect for teenagers who like to boogy board. We've visited twice in 4 days here and expect we will visit again before our week in Oahu is over.

Most tourists miss this amazing beach because it is halfway between the Shrimp Trucks and the Polynesian Cultural Center. Too bad for them but great for the rest of us. The beach is beautiful, the showers and toilets are convenient, and last summer a food...More
