It's a nice spot to hang out - it's a square with a lot of establishments around it. Fountain changes colors so you might want to visit at night. Nice place to walk around and maybe drink something

Since we were staying across the street and wanted some ice cream, we wandered over to the Graeter's on Fountain Square and sat to enjoy. The fountain is truly beautiful, and the square is kind of like the place to meet and sit. While there,...More

We visited for the first time and loved all the Fountain Square had to offer. We had dinner and drinks at Rock Bottom, which was great. We enjoyed people watching while we waited for a table at an outside patio.

Go to the fountain and take a picture or two. Changes colors and is nice in the evening. Wish the weather was nicer and bands would have been playing, I’m sure it would be a fun hangout.

Go to fountain...pose and take pic. Just remember the darker it gets outside...be in a group! The police can not monitor everything! On my second visit to the location...closed Feb 2018.

The square is nice and surrounded by several restaurants. The square itself is a bit boring though it does offer restrooms. Thankfully it’s close to so much so it’s easy to see it without going out of your way.

I believe that the German market that you are reference is 'Findlay Market' which is on the northwest side of downtown. I think that it is only open during daytime hours. It is better and livelier during warmer months
