We've sat on the lawn, had seats in the FIlene Center (both close up and last row), and been in the Barns during the winter. We've left with smiles on our faces every time. The place is architecturally beautiful, with lots of wood that gives...More

Be sure to upgrade your seat if you bought lawn seats and rain is predicted. We got there around 4 before going to hotel last night and were soooo glad. It poured, but we had upgraded the seats. I will say the beers are ridiculously...More

Great place to catch a show. Good seating whether inside or on the lawn. Outdoor amphitheater with good acoustics. Free parking and relatively easy access. Great summer night activity in DC area.

My husband and I visited Wolf Trap for the first time while seeing The All-American Rejects/Dashboard Confessional concert. We were pleasantly surprised by this venue. It was small but clean, comfortable and beautiful. There doesn't seem to be a bad seat, even from the Lawn....More

I've given up on Nissan now Jiffy-Lube and Merriweather for live music. What's the point of bothering with the traffic, the heat and the always-changing rules about what you can/can't bring, all to WATCH the performance on a jumbo-tron, because you CANNOT see the artist...More

Wonderful venue in a beautiful place. I went to Mama Mia with my husband. We had dinner at the Ovations open-air restaurant before the show. What a wonderful evening. The food was wonderful and the show was fantastic. This is my favorite venue as it...More

Great venue! This is beautiful, clean and amazing! Acoustics are fabulous! They ran out of handicap parking so the overflow was in with the Encore parking (on grass). I'm unsure why they wouldn't have made that lot with a more stable base. One of the...More

This is a gorgeous venue and very easy to get to. The grounds were clean and well maintained. Aretha was amazing! This is a beautiful location and I'll definitely be visiting again.

We saw two concerts here in July (Mellencamp and Aretha) and the venue is adequate though it lacks screens to view the performance and the sound system seemed temperamental. Parking is easy and well organized.

Not sure about a buffet but you can picknick on the grass. Try to get there early for a good spot. Ps- bring your own adult beverages as theirs cost a fortune!

We have not had any issue with mosquitoes, but perhaps take repellant, just in case. It is wonderful there, that noone judges your attire. You can go casual as you like or dress up. You see a little of both. I do suggest... More
