This was beautiful. There were several bus loads of Chinese tourists there, and it made it hard to take a picture without one of them in it they weren't overly considerate.

The falls are a short walk from the parking area. The parking area can fill quickly, so plan to arrive early or later in the day. The trail is paved and easy to navigate. There are pinnacles surrounding the falls. A large general store contains...More

We stopped for two reasons, the waterfall and the amenities. The amenities were good and after a short walk, the view of the waterfall was not too bad either. There were additional walks to the bottom of the falls but we didn't take them.

There's a nice trail to hike out to the waterfall, and some neat, conical rock pinnacles. Perhaps not as stunning as some of the other sites in Yellowstone, but still worth seeing. Plus, there's a general store nearby to stop for a snack.

Don't go out of your way to come see this but as it was along out loop drive, we stopped to check it out. The family spent more time playing with the squirrel than view the falls. It is just a few steps from the...More

This is about a 45 minute drive on a narrow, winding road from Canyon Village, but Wow!! It is worth the time. The "towers" formed from the waterfall erosion are spectacular. All concessions are closed after Labor Day, and that includes restrooms, so be prepared,...More

This stop is good for a chance to stretch your legs and/or eat lunch, which we did. It's a very short walk to the view of the falls. The falls themselves are not too exciting but it was a good break in driving from Mammoth...More

From Yellowstone Lake you have to brave the 8,900 ft Dunraven Pass to get to Tower Falls and since there had been recent snow, the pass had plenty of snow on top though the road was free of snow. It is a beautiful drive with...More

This is a worthwhile stop and you can enjoy another waterfall in Yellowstone. It may not be as spectacular as Upper and Lower Falls on the Yellowstone River. There are restrooms here too. The short hike/walk is worth the view....you can easily see where the...More

There is a large-ish boulder at the lip, and the water pours around it. I don't know if it's the same boulder you saw, and I can't put a picture here. But there are other photos posted in September 2016 by TripAdvisor folks... More
