A fairly easy trail takes you to a nice water fall...certainly not the hugeness of the Upper Falls or Lower Falls...but a pleasant waterfall nonetheless. So if you have the time in your schedule, take a visit to Fairy Falls Enjoy !!!

This was a great trail option when most everything was covered in snow or ice from the recent weather blast. Easy to follow, about 2 miles to the waterfall for a total of about 4 miles up and back. There's a geyser overlook early on....More

The day we went on this hike it had snowed about 5" in the night. In fact it was snowing & wind blowing the morning we did hike. It was so cold that we almost didn't go. So glad we decided to brave the weather....More

The first part of this hike is the same as to Grand Prismatic Overlook so there are plenty of people. Behind this point it's rather empty. The hike is almost flat and very easy, however it's quite long. Fairy falls at the end are nice...More

This is one of those hikes that offers low impact and little elevation gain but ends with a huff payoff. The mostly flat and wide trail meanders through a mostly newer forest that is coming up through the remains of a previous fire. While it...More

Though the parking is a total mess, this is a great hike that can kill a few birds with one stone. The waterfall itself is pretty cool, but t the new overlook for the Grand Prismatic Spring is the star of the show. It is...More

Fairy Falls was our last hike before leaving the park, and we chose it because it was rated as easy and level, no elevation change, and is 5.5 miles round trip. It is long so bring water! We did not bring enough and wished we...More

Putting this review here - a new trial has opened with an overlook over the Grand Prismatic Spring. The trailhead is at the parking lot leading to Fairy Falls trail. The Falls is a bit longer hike but the hike to the Prismatic Spring overlook...More

We were told that this waterfall is more majestic and mystic than mystic falls, but it is closed right now. We were disappointed to not be able to see it. Maybe next year.

It's a surprise that this is rated so high among all attractions at Yellowstone. It is an extremely BORING hike because you are basically walking through a green tunnel of trees with very little variation in the scenery and with barely any view except the...More

There is no bike rack, however, there are wooden barricades blocking you from going on the trail past the Midway Geyser Basin where there is trail construction. There are trees nearby that would probably work too. I would... More
