Very good short hike if you only want to walk a mile or so. This is about a mile roundtrip and not very strenuous. Lots of ducks and geese in the lake. Mosquitoes can be bad in June and early July, so take bug spray....More

There are too many other interesting, beautiful trails in Yellowstone to spend limited time on this flat trail in burnt land on an insignificant lake.
