We chose to eat in the dining room after seeing how packed the cafeteria and deli were. After a very short wait, we were pleasantly surprised with good lunch choices. Large salad for our vegetarian, and delicious hamburgers and meatloaf for the carnivores. Service was a trifle slow, but, in all fairness, they were quite busy. However, the staff were... More

Average facilities. Average cafeteria food. Wasn't anything special, although the price was a bit of a shocker.

This is a great spot in the park but there is nothing here to write home about. It seemed kinda designed to just move people through. There is a lot of parking.

This is located in Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. The general store, an outdoor store, the visitor center & a restaurant all in one place. I think the lodge is somewhere around there too. The campground is also nearby & there are showers & a laundromat too.

These stops give you a chance to get a few provisions and a hot meal away from your camping and fast food. The food is decent. The bathrooms are clean.

I am on a 4 month trip and have visited 18 National Parks so far for comparison. What I like about this lodge is that it IS brand new, it is very energy conscious, the rooms are great and the central location makes it really easy to get to most areas of the park. Lots of plusses! On the down... More

Food at the restaurant was quite bad. Only ate one bite of my sandwich. My wife did enjoy the trout, though. Canyon village lodge was way overpriced. Room was tiny and bathroom was even tinier. Shower was a joke: less than 2 ft sq. Room was clean though. No tv or internet. After a very long day of hiking a... More

We were amongst the first guests to use the new accommodation at The Lodge. It's nice, carpets - new, beds - new, everything - new. Makes a surprise change from expected grubby surrounds. Everything worked. My only concern, there was only one elevator for guests, and the maid service. Could be a problem in the future when the rooms are... More

We stopped at the General Store which was large as it had groceries for campers, and items for tourist. This was the place we found the best buys for t-shirts. They had a clearance rack where we got USA made t-shirts for $6.99.

Great place for a pit stop. Restrooms at Visitors Center. Several places to eat. Post Office. We saw a deer resting at stop sign when we left.
