Stunning Views of Yosemite Valley and the park. The mountains tower above you stretching one after the other into the distance giving you the most magnificent views at Glacier Point and pretty much any other view points in the National Park. The majestic trees, mirror-still lakes and winding streams add to the serenity. Truly a joy to behold. We absolutely... More

Nice view within a very short walking distance. Usually very crowded. Also a very nice place in the evening.

when you visit this sight. We loved the views, and so will you. Your views of the backside of Half Dome are unobstructed. You have to be patient when taking your pictures or getting your picture taken because it's a touristy spot, but it is so worth it. Get there early and beat the crowds.

The daunting drive up was quite fun, i'd advise going early since the car park can fill up. But the view is fantastic, highly recommend if you have little time in Yosemite as you can see many of the parks features.

The view from Glacier's Point literally mesmerized me. I was going about life as usual. It was a bright day near Memorial Day. I will never forget looking out upon God's beauty. His work is so plainly evident for us to see at Glacier Point. It is so elevated. It's like looking down from heaven. It gives us mere mortals... More

You get a great view of Half Dome from here and it is the start and the end point of a number of trails. This point is always busy and flocked by tourists!

We hiked to Glacier Point by taking the Four mile trail and little did we know the trail basically was all uphill with sharp switchbacks. The hike up was brutal - many areas were strenuous and steep. The whole experience felt like we were on the stair master for 3 hours in the 90 degree weather at a steep incline.... More
