This is quite a steep and high hike to do, so keep in mind that the air will be very thin at the top after you've just walked a very steep hill. Take your time. The very top of Lembert dome offers a fantastic panoramic...More

Nice hike through the trees and views of the meadow. You may see some deer or researchers. Only tricky part is the last bit going up the dome. You should use good footwear and have lunch on the top.

This is a great day hike from Tioga Pass. The view from the top rivals any of the others in the park. You need good shoes to tackle the last hundred yards to the top, but other than that it is a climb that most...More

We passed this going towards the Tioga pass. There were meadows full of deer next to it. It was good to see but no where as specular as Half dome or El Capitan. Definitely worth seeing the views of the snipe capped mountains, etc.

The beginning of the hike starts off walking through the forest. We saw two deers and what seemed like 800 rocks that we had to make sure we didn't trip over. Keep an eye out for the signs to Lembert Dome because you can easily...More

The hike at Lembert Dome in Toulumne Meadows part of Yosemite National Park is very nice. I find the rock interesting as is a granite dome rock. We were there August 2017.

Our family enjoyed this hike immensely. Be sure to wear proper shoes and comfortably fit clothes. It was August and so it was it but not terriblly so because you hike through the forest and have shade. It took 3-4 hours because we were constantly...More

We walked from the car park to Dogbone Lake and then on to Lembert Dome. The lake is OK, being surrounded by mountains but Lembert Dome is spectacular. It is an easy walk to the top and the views are out of this world. Best...More
