Scenic Walk to the Roaring Lower Fall (in December)

We parked our car at the parking lot close to the Village Store and took a walk to the Lower Waterfall (to minimize walking you can also take the free shuttle to bus stop # 6). It was approx. 20 minutes (one way) through paved but in some parts snowy trail with awesome view, especially from the small bridges where... More

What a beautiful day it was after Christmas. Lots of people, we were surprised. But we had a very good time! We went as far as we could with a 3 and 5 year old. We all cant wait to return!

I visited Yosemite by myself and it was a very nice experience. I've never been to a big national park so this was something different. I couldn't believe how large everything is! The falls were breathtaking. It was very crowded but that is to be expected in May.

It was a dry year in California. This is the first time I went to the falls and there was no water. The walk and view is nice but without the waterfall - -it is a little disappointing

My daughter and I visited Yosemite during our 12 days 6,300 mile cross country trip. Yosemite was the one place we wanted to stay more than one day (Grand Canyon/Vegas/LA/San Fran). The views and vistas are UNREAL. You just can't believe you are there.

Last time we visited the falls it was dry. It was wonderful to see it flowing and I don't really think we were seeing it at its best. There is something magical about waterfalls. Loved the falls.

Quick, easy walk to the lower falls on a paved path. We have even walked it with a stroller and had no issues. If you visit in spring or early summer, you will likely get sprayed with water once you get to the bridge. It's pretty fantastic to experience and I highly recommend it. It's also beautiful in autumn. The... More

This waterfall fall consisted of the Upper and the Lower Yosemite Falls. We visited and hiked the trail to the Lower Yosemite Falls from bus stop #6. The path is supposed to be Accessible and easy. However during our visit, almost half of the path was covered in thick (frozen) snow which made the walk rather difficult and icy. However... More

The view was breath-taking. There were 3 water falls overlapping each other. There was even a rainbow when we had our pictures taken.

The Falls are a beauty to behold from the ground, but walking up provides a new perspective you just can’t capture in a photograph. It is easy to walk up to the Half Dome look out point (about 25 mins up) and then around the corner a further 10 mins for picturesque views of the falls. But the true reward... More
