There are no exciting views. It's a nice few hours through the woods overlooking first the golf course and then the meadow. We saw no wildlife in the middle of the day. Good trail, lots of shade for the warmth in August.

My travel group included two school age relatives who seldom hike but are active kids. This was the perfect activity. We chose to hike counterclockwise, starting by walking across the golf course and turning left on the old road. I quickly realized that we'd need...More

This is a great little walk for those looking for something mild and interesting. It's an easy walk and it would make a great trail fur a morning jog. Bring water.

A pleasant walk of about 2 hours. 8-10 interpretive signs display nature and history facts. And the wildflowers in June were abundant!

Staying at the Wawona Hotel, it was fun to watch all of the families playing in the snow filled Wawona Meadow. They were building snowmen, sledding and just having fun. We also walked around the meadow which was a nice hike.
