So so

High expectation to this place but it was so so for me as the place's not that big or amazing. Probably because I have read too much about the place that makes me disappointed.

The name Blue Lagoon sounded very inviting but upon arrival we were quite disappointed that it was more of a canal. But it seems that those who come here enjoy the plunge and dip into the "blue lagoon". As for the cave itself, the climb is fun and not dangerous ( if one has the right pair of shoes). In... More

It's loaded with crowds. When you leave early than you can maybe enjoy the place for an hour. Lots of restaurants, big groups coming down to spend the day.

Yes it's a tourist attraction, but well worth it! We did a tour that included tubing in the cave, kayaking for two hours, lunch, and the blue lagoon for around $15USD. Would definitely recommend!

Loved the crowds, loved the noise and loved the screaming. We arrived, we looked at some brackish water and we left the masses of day trippers to their own devices. Highly recommended

Sort of a tourist trap. Water is chilly so not too relaxing and the lagoon has a bunch of swimming toys scattered around. Pass this one if you can, nothing to remember.

Nice place but one too many visitors. We had a nice hour looking around taking photos etc but for us from Qld it was too cold to swim besides it had too many people in too small an area. Ok to visit but nothing spectacular.

The lagoon is full of tourists jumping into the water from an overhanging tree. There are eating areas and other activities one can pay to do like ziplinning through the trees (25$ for 15 zip lines). We had fun, we took a cab out to the place and walked most of the way back.

If you have had the pleasure of climbing up and over karsts to explore a natural lagoon... you will be disappointed by the scene here. This is a group tour destination, and drive-up experience - the parking lot at 3pm was full of minivans, dozens of dunebuggies, motos and bicycles. If you found your own way here, expect to pay...
