Marvelous work using modern laser technology to lay out the image. Beautiful grounds but v.busy. Take plenty of water etc. Just down the road is Silverlake vineyard and gardens.

This attraction is southbound 17 kms from Pattaya. On the way to this attraction , road is under construction so drive carefully. The vicinity is hot but worth visiting. Many chinese tourists arund there so fruits, snacks on sale there are costly.

This mountain is not situated too far out of Pattaya and is definitely worth seeing. Very popular with tourists and is generally packed with visitors wanting to see the mountain. The Buddha is shaped onto the mountain in gold, and provides for a spectacular view,...More

Well worth going to see this attraction even if just to wonder how they managed to get the Buddha onto the rock face. Opportunity for some good photos. Close to the silver lake vinyard, so can combine both.

After visiting Silver lake winery, we decided to Buddha mountain as it clearly visible from there and main road. As Thai people are very religious it is very important site for them to pay respect to Buddha and you don't find many foreigners (farang) here.

There's not much to see or do apart from taking few photos of a nearly vertical outcrop with Buddha image painted on it. Most of People stop by while on the way to nearby attractions like water park. Good thing - it's free of charge.

As far as I know, there is no scheduled public transport out there. I'd either take a metered taxi there and ask him to wait, or negotiate with a song taeow driver to take you out there. Just make sure you are clear that the... More
