I enjoyed my visit at the garden of butterflies it was not so big that it became confusing and not so small that it becomes boring it was just right. You really like feel your in one of national geographic channel programs entertaining and educational at the same time.

While on a visit to Alsace/Lorraine, France my French friends had arranged a visit of this jewel of nature after visiting the Koenignsburg Castle up the hill. This is a nice finish for the day and quite relaxing. This greenhouse and outside exhibits are well preserved. The orchids are almost as exciting as the butterflies. Educational for adults and children... More

This is the biggest park of butterflies we have visited so far and they have much more of these beautiful animals than the parks in Germany.

It is the most beautiful kind of butterflies’ gardens I visited. It is very beautiful, full of butterflies and very diverse, not just one type. Highly recommended.

The place is relatively small, you get no explanation beside a small movie about bees and honey in a different tent. The butterflies exposition is ok thus they present 1 or two species of insects. A nice place for kids.

A very lovely place to visit if you want to be close to butterflies :) There are hundreds of different types of butterfly. They fly around you and give you the opportunity to see them from very close.

There are lots of different varieties of butterflies to see. The car parking is free of charge but entrance is not. Butterflies fly around and even land on you and can take photos of them. Signs say not to touch but many people were doing. You can also watch a film about the butterflies on French. My children loved the... More

What a beautiful place it is. There are so many varieties of butterflies and flowers in this place that I cannot imagine a single person who would not like them. As someone has already mentioned on this site, the parking is absolutely free, but the entrance tickets are not. Once you enter this place, you can go watch the film... More

I have seen these in 4 or 5 places around the world including Malaysia, South Africa and Australia, and they are much the same. But the one in Alsace is a nice break from wine, old churches, medieval towns, castles and war memorials/museums.

Very nice and well maintained green houses with lots of stunning butterflies. Lots of orchids too and a few chameleons. Very relaxing visit. Kids also loved it. Well worth a stop.
