I first came in 2014 when I first visited Saulkrasti, I have returned every year since then. Amazing collection, great character and personality from our host. I can't wait to visit again. I wish they had tshirts for sale :).

Located in backyard building of private house of collection owners. The owner is welcoming and spent a time with us to tell about his amazing and unique collection of the ancient and original bicycles manufactured in Latvia

It's better to book the visit in advance ( by phone or e-mail) ,because of matter mentioned above :-) , it's private , You know... We don't need the translations ,but there are English/German languageguifed tours available. And during summer season one can rent the bike, or passing tourist/bicyclist may got some maintenance done to his vechicle or even serious... More

Have been there in cold November day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Museum is small, but nice. Thank you for great experience!

Open: 10am-6pm. From 1. september - 1. april working hours on request! City bicycle rental in summer, bicycle repair...

I heard about this museum before visiting Latvia, and made a special trip to go see it. I was so pleasantly surprised by this small, but well-organized, and richly-packed museum. Displayed are bikes from many Latvian bicycle manufacturers (Erenpreis, Ozolnieks, Omega) plus a few unique bikes made from wood, one of which was designed by an airplane engineer. There are... Very large bike collection. Good place to relax and study the history of Latvian bicycle production.

Amazing collection of old bicycles and all kind of things connected with bikes. Specially nice collection of different manufacturers name plates and really nice old school bike shop interior. Price is only 1 LAT (around 1.5 EUR) and as it is family run it is nice and homey. It is nice small city and museum is on the Riga side... More

The owners of the unique collection of ancient bicycles in Latvia, Saulkrasti, Guntis and Janis Seregins should be proud of having this amazing museum - private collection!
