We dropped by 3 times for the salmon sashimi @ $10 for 100g. Salmon slices were prepacked 2 days prior but still very good; mildly firm with minimal fishiness. Sit outside for an excellent view of the lake and the mountains in the distance.

Stopped in out of curiosity and ended up having the best sashimi I've ever tasted. Tender, rich but not overly oily and for $10 plenty for both of us. We already had local merino lamb to cook for dinner or we'd have been having more...More

Super fresh, tasty and beautiful salmon. The staff weren't that friendly but I guess it was a really cold day. The best part was the spectacular view of Lake Pukaki and Mount Cook.

The Salmon is fresh and delicious but the customer service is sub par. For a place catering tourists and representing NZ hospitality a smile wouldn't of hurt.

Dropped by here with my family in the late afternoon. The salmon was amazing. Not too fatty, and melted in your mouth. Honestly, best sashimi compared to some other farms we went to There are some seats overlooking the lake and a cute little kitten...More

There are limited picnic tables, so there is a chance you might not have seats after your purchase your salmon. The Lake is beautiful, so do cater time to take many photos there.

The salmon was fresh and reasonably priced. The 500gm portion is good for 2 people. On sale is also Cold Smoked & Oak Roasted Salmon. Wasabi and Soy sauces, sold in small sachets. Was served by a very rude staff at the counter. Very indifferent...More

They sell top quality salmon with reasonable price. There are tables outside the shop where we ate sashimi with wonderful lake view. It's great that they are not commercialised yet even they have lots of tourists.

Yes. The salmon shop (where there are also pens so you can feed the fish at no cost) are just across the road from where the fish are farmed in pens. There's not a lot to see at the pens as there is no access. However I... More

Pretty much like any other salmon fillet. Start with the salmon fillet at room temperature (about 15 minutes out of the fridge). For fillet about half an inch thick, cook for about 4 minutes with the skin down until the... More
