It was a great stretch of beach, but quite a bit of debris. Was glad to see and meet a lot of locals during my evening strolls on the beach.

The beach itself has the finest white powder sand I've ever experienced. The water is clear and warm. However the ever present beach boys patrol here looking for a scam as they do everywhere in Zanzibar

Very nice beach popular with kite surfers. Loads of friendly people and beach restaurant options. Affordable beach accommodation which caters for the beach community. The place to be to for watersports and beach activities.

Supermarket is too much said. There are just a few small stores. There is a liquor store on the main road more to the nord of the village. You can try there :)
